I've been wanting to make my own alpha patterns for a while, but without working from a image. I have a few patterns I want to make, but I don't know how to make them freestyle. I think I just struggle with drawing in pixels, if that makes sense.

I want to make a pattern similar to #34719, but I want to add a rainbow in there. I'm not copying that pattern entirely, more or so using it as a reference.

I learned lots about drawing pixel art from MortMort on YouTube. I'm sure there are other tutorials on YouTube too.When designing an alpha pattern, you also need to consider how well it can be knotted, but I think if you stay in a similar scale as the clouds pattern, you should be fine. |
