I’m trying to understand this pattern and I’m really stuck and confused about how to knot the grey part of the pattern as they are backward knots but do you knot them all on one white string in the candy stripe row is what I want to know? Can anyone help me please? It’s pattern #143224

I would say to it row by row even though it's not supposed to be done like that it'll be easier

It's easiest to tie this pattern in diagonals like a candystripe. That's the way I intended it when designing it. I wanted to design an easy to knot pattern that is beginner friendly. I think row by row is possible too (it is for every pattern) but I think it will make it more complicated than it needs to be. |
