Bookmark String Amount + Other Criteria

I want to attempt to make an embroidery thread bookmark for my friend. I am wondering if there is a specific amount of strings I should aim for when looking for patterns to use for this (so I can get the ideal width of a "typical" bookmark). She really likes cats so I wanted to find a pattern with cats on it that could work as a bookmark (but also isn't crazy complicated as I am assuming it would have to be an alpha pattern).

Hi! I don't know if you've already made the bookmark but I think that a typical bookmark sizes could be around 1 to 2 inches in width and at least 6 inches tall. If you search up alpha patterns and cats as the keyword you should be able to find some cute designs that could be used as bookmarks.#208074 #206687 #206680 and #202266 are some examples of patterns I found that I think would make good bookmarks ❤️ ❤️ |
