Can I edit my own pattern?

I have an existing pattern that I made but I wanted to add a name to the pattern. Is it possible to edit my own pattern or do I have to make it from scratch again?

You cannot edit already posted patterns, neither your own nor someone else's.You would need to recreate it from scratch. Keep in mind that we no longer accept custom name patterns because they are not relevant to other users. If it is not a custom name pattern and you want to replace the old pattern with a new one, you or a moderator can ask admin to send you the pattern data, so you don't need to recreate it from scratch, but I think admin will only do that if the intention is to replace the pattern. At least I haven't seen him give out the pattern data when this wasn't the case, but he might. You just got to try. |
