So when you look at some patterns they end but the strings are in a different order then they were when you started to what should I do because this confuses me and I understandd the patterns fine I just don’t know how to continue

Continue in the same way. These are repeating patterns where the shape stays the same but the colors will shift with each new repetition of the pattern. Basically, ignore the color order and follow the knots and you’ll get the rest of the pattern
