How do I know that my pattern was accepted?

I created a pattern and uploaded it yesterday and I still don't know if it has been accepted..... How do I know it did? How long does it take for me to know? As well as I also uploaded a picture before uploading the pattern and then I have noticed that I upgraded to Newbie + + does that mean the photo has been accepted? ( i have not received anything for either of them)

I turned to Newbie ++ right now and I uploaded the pattern and picture about 30 hours ago

When the new patterns and photos come in, you should get notifications telling you whether they got declined or accepted. From what I know, you rank up by making patterns, adding friends, adding photos, adding todos, adding videos, and posting in the forum and chat
