I haven't been able to ask this question until now, but I was confused with certain patterns. I'm a newbie, so I apologize for any errors I make during this post, but I think it's with non-alpha bracelets?


For example, Pattern #17795. I have no clue in what order the colors are supposed to be arranged in. I also only have an understanding knowledge of the 4 basic knots. Therefore, I don't know what (--->) and (

17796 is an alpha pattern which only uses backward and forward knots. So you have your background string which needs to be on skein of string and you background strings which will vary in length depending on how u end bracelets (I end mine with braids so I make mine longer. But but there are more details on how you make alphas in the tutorial section. I'm not the best at describing sorry

Ahhh it did it again well an arrow facing the other way is a backward knot.
