crochet thread for alphas

I’ve been looking at crochet thread and yarn because I want more multi colored thread. However I know it’s important to use string with similar thickness. I use DMC embroidery floss and DMC craft cord. What size crochet thread should I use and where on the packages do I find the size that the string is?

Size 5 crochet thread would probably be the best bet as its pretty much the same thickness as embroidery floss.You should be able to find the size on the label. If you are shopping online the size should be stated somewhere within the description and/or title of the product. |

Summer nights lions brand very similar to most embroidery thread and can be used in any bracelet with all threads. Can be bought at Michaels or Walmart

Aunt Lydia's Crochet Thread is a good brand of crochet thread. It comes in multiple sizes and has a variety of colors, even some metallic.
