How long should you make your leading strings in alpha bracelets, depending on how many knots you are making with that string?

If it’s the background color I find it doesn’t really matter how long you make it you’ll always need to add another string of if. So I’d suggest making it as long as you feel comfortable working with and then add more when you need it

if you're not gonna be making too many knots with it, don't cut a lot because you can always add more if you need it. I definitely prefer cutting them shorter. but I usually cut my leading string pretty long, maybe about 13 inches.

for leading strings, i always just keep them on a bobbin. that way, you won’t run out of string and you don’t have to keep replacing your string. 🙂

I just cut a wingspan length plus a little extra for bracelets, but if its for a keychain I cut the string shorter
