How can I make my knots look more neat?

Some of my bracelets are coming out very nice and neat but others are coming out sloppy. Does anyone have any tips on making the knots on all of my bracelets neater?

All you can really do is remember how you made the 'neater knots' and stick to the way you knotted it, and remember what tension it was and stick to that. Generally though it's all about practice, which may sound like the biggest cop-out, but practice really does make perfect. The only thing you can really do is experiment, for example; find out what tension works best for you, what work space works for you, the way you actually make the knots, how many strings you prefer to work with, etc and when you find it stick to it. There is no right or wrong way, because everyone is different. If you're patient and work slowly, it'll all piece together nicely. |
