Hello!! When I make alphas, I seem to always be stretching the pattern and I don’t know why… It’s as if my knots were longer than their width, any tips on how to prevent that?

Actually, don't pull your knots super tight. Tying looser knots should help prevent this to some degree.It's normal that images in alphas are slightly stretched because knots naturally are higher than wide. You can use thicker base strings, tie looser knots and push up your rows with a ruler. |
