does anyone have a good formula for how many knots to do in each row of a teardrop or triangle start? i always feel like mine are either too “slow” and it takes a long time to get to the pattern or i spread out the strings too fast and my rows curl towards the top at the edges. and when i do one well, i have no idea how to replicate it in the future! i’m not sure if that makes sense but any advice is appreciated 🙂

The most common is to go1, 3, 5, 7... or 2, 4, 6, 8... knots per row. Is that what you mean? |

Or do you mean how big to do the loop itself? For that I don't really have an answer. It comes down to preference. You got to figure out which proportion of knots vs strings works for you.
