I can do the actual triangle parts at each end but I CANNOTTTT connect them! It always turns out like an arch it’s so annoying, I just want it to be straight 😭 any tips are appreciated

Are you doing a loop before? Maybe the loop of too small.For bring able to connect them better, I recommend clipping or taping both triangles down right next to each other before you continue knotting. |

Depends on how many strings the pattern has/ how far the tips of the triangles are apart. You've got to experiment what works for you.
