Making pattern #10189 right now, row 20 (second stitch towards the middle) going downwards towards the middle (lmk if that dosen't make sense) this is my first triangle start and I'm not through the top section that fills in the start yet. strings on the left are ordered aaabbabba (from outside to middle), which have completed row 20, however, on the right side, (the uncompleted row), the strings are ordered aabbababa (from outside to middle) (tldr, not the right order to complete the row). How can I tell where one of my strings went wrong? How can I keep tying the pattern, or do I have to start over? This might be completely incomprehensible, please let me know how I can clarify! |

Undo the knots up until you find the mistake. Then redo them correctly. I assume that the mistake isn't far up.
