How do you make a loop for normal patterns that you don’t food the string in half? For instance pattern #207739 I made it but I tied one string around the rest to try to make a loop but I feel like there has to be a better way! Anyone have better ways? Because mine is NOT working out well at all.

You can’t make a loop with a pattern that has just one string of each color. At least not by making it in a typical way. You could double each string and fold them in half, then make a linked loop, but that would make your knots twice as big and alter the. overall size of the bracelet. I do this sometimes because I like the effect. Lmk if you want me to explain more or find a video

So @Moonling is technically correct but there is a method I’ve used that has worked for me where you don’t have to double up your knots. It’s hard to describe though so I suggest on YouTube you search Empatheeo’s video titled: “Teardrop Loop While All Strings Are Different Colors - Step by Step Tutorial II Friendship Bracelets”. It helped me a lot. The loop itself will be bulky but otherwise the bracelet should look pretty normal.

I make mine where each string is slightly longer than necessary then fold over the excess to tie a loop then cut the excess
