string length for a 144 row pattern

I'm trying to make pattern 15843. It has 144 rows. I cut the same length of string I always use, a wingspan plus a little more folded in half. My sting is getting short before the whole design. I'm not used to patterns like this.

You need to measure how long a certain amount of rows is for you. For that you can take an old bracelet that you used the same materials on. Now you can calculate how long 144 rows would be. Your string needs to be as long as that and some extra for the ties.
