Not sure if this is the right category ir if this has asked before. I have seen singular strands woven on top of bracelets usually alphas, now sure if it’s technically sewing cross stich or embroidery. Anyway I could only find one tutorial from Alex Innovations but that was it so I was wondering if anyone else has any tips? I don’t know how to do sewing or cross stitch so would I need to learn and what would I need materials wise? Thanks and sorry for typos I am very sleep deprived

From watching the Alex’s Innovations video, it’s definitely embroidery. I don’t know of any other tutorials specifically for embroidery on bracelets, but if you look on Pinterest, there’s tons of short videos on the different types of stitches (search something along the lines of “embroidery stitches”). Each type of stitch is varying, and can make tons of cool things depending on how you use them. I would say materials-wise, just a needle and maybe a thimble if the needle hurts your finger when pushing it through. You can use the same embroidery thread you use for your bracelets. The only sewing technique I would suggest to learn is how to tie off strands (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/2322237302492163/), and if you see a pattern online that you’d like to embroider, they make water-dissolving paper for embroidery that you can draw the design on, then essentially embroider it onto what you’re working on, and then dip in water and it will dissolve, leaving the thread. Sorry for such a long message 😂

@just_mere nah thanks for the detailed info! I don’t have the time or funds currently to try it out, but I’d love to eventually. Thanks for taking the time to respond even with links ☺️
