What do I do if I run out of a color on a bracelet?

I have more of the same color on a different spool but how do I add it onto the bracelet to keep going?

what I have done, is I make a knot at the end of the bracelet with the new thread, and then cut off ALL the extra thread, so you basically just have the knot

you can add it as you would add colors in an alpha bracelet! i would recommend masha knots’ flat alpha tutorial, it still works whether you’re knotting alphas or normals!
