I can't figure out why the pattern on my alphas always comes out stretched. 😭what should I do to make it look more normal? |

Without seeing what they look like, and what materials you use it's hard to say. The tension which you put on your string, like how tight you tie the knot and which direction you hold the strings, can have probably the biggest effect on how your bracelet comes out in the end, so maybe that could be the problem? Try experimenting, and keeping the same tension. Try use the same type string, and same brand and thickness of string also. Honestly though, knots aren't perfectly square like a grid, so it's only natural that the bracelet will appear a little "stretched" so to speak, if it looks unnoticeable then that is completely normal, its not you just the way knots are. |

Try pushing the knots tighter against the ones above them... maybe that will help?
