string gets pulled out

often times when i'm making a normal pattern i end up pulling the string out of the bracelet, leaving a very short thread still im the bracelet and the long remains if the string pulled apart. how can i prevent this/ put it back in the bracelet?

You can try and prevent this by not pulling so tight while making the knot. To put the string back in, basically take the string that got pulled back and tape it under the bracelet and continue making knots on it. However be careful for the first few knots you make with it. When you're making knots, make them as high up the string and as close to the bracelet as possible, this will prevent rubbing along the string too much (which causes the string to fray and then eventually snap).
