Any tips on how to prevent widening Alphas? I’ve tried using all the same size/ same brand thread and still no luck :/

Uneven tension can cause this. Make sure you're using the same tension throughout. With some people (like me) they find that this happens when colours are added in; if you feel like this happens to you try pulling the background string looser than the pattern colour(s). 🙂

Try using the flat alpha technique Masha Knots has a video on it, if you use the other technique it may wide your alpha because when changing colors it leaves a little gap and the more changes the more it widens there.

Sometimes the best way to stop that is to use the same thickness of string or the same brand
