when i make alphas, and i knot with the background string, theres always a sapce with some string hanging in between. how do i fix it??????

I like to just finish the row like it is and then push up the strings with my fingernail, but I don't know if that answers your question or not...Hope I helped🙂 |

I used to have this issue all the time, but with practice I think I've become much better! What I try to do is....well, it's slightly tricky to explain. xD when doing the forward knots/backwords knots across, try to use your thumbnail to tighten it as close to your previous knot as you can. Once you do that knot and it's pressed firmly up against there, make your next knot very tight too and try to avoid moving/loosening them as you continue. It'll take some practice, but hopefully you'll have an idea of what I mean. xD If not, I'm sorry! Maybe I'll try to come up with an easier way to explain it. 🙂
