bracelet twisting

when I make the bracelet and pin it using the clip of a writing pad, it twists. If I use tape, it doesn’t stay still but is straight and not twisted… anyone know what I can do?

For me the clip of a clip board is not strong enough, but a binder clip works very well. You could try that.

I do the same thing, using a binder clip on a clipboard.

Depends on the tape ur using, coz some doesn’t stay straight it twists

I use painters tape, it’s what I had on hand the first time and it’s worked well. But I like my tape close to my working edge so every inch or so I move the tape back down (or bracelet up?) to the edge I’m knotting.

So what I do is get a small heavy box and tape my bracelet and lay my back and I really enjoy making em

If you use a binder clip, I've noticed it help to have the clip positioned as close as possible to the area you're working with. It also helps to fold the bracelet over the top edge of your clipboard/backboard so you can pin both sides of the bracelet with the binder clip.

I use clear tape and usually I’ll secure it by putting more tape around it so it stays stuck in place until the bracelet is complete
