Hello,I would like to make this pattern with 5 colors instead of 7 (plus black) #15454. Am I right when I take the same amount of black strings, but only 5 instead of 7 color strings? An then just easily follow the pattern as in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7QdlTvRE4s&t=533s Thanks. |

Yes, you can just adjust the pattern slightly to fit your amount of strings 🙂You want to work with 5 colour strings and 9 background strings, right? #143608 has less strings, it uses 5 colour strings and 5 black strings. If you use 5 colour strings and 9 black strings, the proportions of black and colour will be different than in the original pattern. The black part will be wider then the colour part. If that is your intention, I'd say go for it, but if your intention is that it looks more like the original pattern in regards to proportion, I recommend #143608. |

I filtered for 10 strings, 6 colours and the keyword "plaid".
