So I tried tying a bracelet from a pattern for the first time (#3463494 for anyone who's curious) and all of my knots look really uneven? I've done candy stripe, chevron, and another similar bracelet where you knot all of the strings over each other instead of pairing them up with success. Any idea why this is happening or what I could do to prevent it?

Are all your strings the same thickness? Strings of different thickness lead to different knot sizes.Apart from that: practice, practice, practice. It's completely normal that your bracelets will be a little uneven in the beginning. It will get easier to have even tension the more you tie. |
