how do you tie the base strings for an alpha onto the keychain neatly and nicely/? Also what do you do if it is odd number of base strings?
Thanks 😉

You use lark's head knots to tie the base strings to the keyring.

If you have an odd amount of base strings, you can just use the end of the first leading string as a base string. You just tie the leading string to the keyring using a lark's head knot and leave one end to be the same length as the other base strings.

Basically you fold the string in half and pull both ends through the loop, but I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube 🙂

pro-tip, also make sure you don't overload the ring ! Make sure the knots have room to move. If you put too many based strings, the top of the bracelet will be tight and it'll make the edges look weird 🙂 For a 1inch ring for reference i try to put less than 9 strings (totalling 18 based strings)
