that’s ma problem¿ I might try to just braid more thread into the ties idk???? But pls don’t say crimp ends cause I’m not gonna buy any 🫶🏽

You could try to continue knotting at the start with what you got left of the strings and insert new strings while knotting. This should work better than inserting the strings in the ties.You could also just make a very short tie on the one side. As long as the tie on the other side is long enough to make a knot, that should be fne. |

You can untie a few rows of knots at the top to give you a little more room
