So I've been trying the flat alpha color changes from Masha Knots flat alpha video but I keep messing something up. Every time I make a color change I end up having a gap or part of the previous color showing. No matter how much I pull on the strings it doesn't change. Any tips on how to fix that? Thanks!

What I do is while I'm doing the second half of the knot on the color switch I hold the old leading string horizonally and then push the knot I just created with my nail so it is closer to the one before. I don't know if that makes sense? I hope it does (:

what is usually do if color is showing through, I pull the previous color downward while making the second part of the knot of the color swith. For the gap try untying the knot and redo it but a tiny bit tighter.I Hope I was able to help. |
