base strings too short

Hii so i am making an alpha atm and i already noticed that a couple (around 3) base strings are shorter then the others. I think they're too short, is there a way to make them longer?

You can replace a base string by pulling it up and behind the bracelet, taping a new base string to your workspace, the knotting onto the new string as if itโs already part of the bracelet. Since youโll only be knotting onto the new string and not making knots with it, itโll be really easy for it to slip right through, so I would keep it taped down for at least five rows.

@-Violet Yes, this was a common problem I had as a beginner. Like @_madeleine suggested, that is a great way to do it. Remember, it's better to be safe then sorry, if your unsure about the length, just cut them longer. Happy Knotting!
