Hey guys, was wondering if anyone knows how to fix my issue as I’ve not really seen anyone else have it on here. So on my alphas, they often begin to form a ‘v’ shape like a chevron instead of going in a straight line (can see it near the end of the keychain in my butterfly keychain picture). If anyone has any advice on how to fix this it would be so appreciated 🙂

@jenhorne_ Have you tried the straight edges technique that helps with the problem.

Make sure to push each row up after you knot it. Some people use a ruler or some kind of flat edge, but I just use my nails.

Make sure you use string of the same thickness. If you use thicker string for the design in the middle the knots there take up more space and make the rows bend.

Are you doing 2 bf or fb knots on the sides for straight edges? Just asking because somebody else didn't know that 😜

Yes, I am using the straight edges technique. Apologies for not replying to that one before 😅

@halokiwi ahh I see, I use a different brand of string for my black/white and colours so that could be the reason! Thank you ☺️
