How do you find out how long or short to cut your alpha strings because mine are always either too long or too short right now I’m making #52366 does anyone have any advice

You can calculate how long a pattern is by measuring how long a certain amount of rows is for you. Your base strings need to be the length of the pattern plus some extra for ties.For the leading strings I recommend to not cut them and just leave them on the skein. |

Use your other alphas, to measure how long to cut it. The base strings should be enough to go around your wrist plus the length of the ties.
