I need help with color changes on the edges. Everytime I do one it looks super sloppy. Is there a method to make it better or does it just come with practice?

you can try doing forward-backward or backward forward knots depending on the side you’re adding strings too. but practice definitely does help too

I see in your wave bracelet picture you posted that you use the flat alpha technique. When you make a color change on the edges, don’t knot the new color onto the old one like you would do with a normal color switch in the middle of the row. When you do this on the edge, you will see the previous color stick out. With color changes on the edge, just tuck the old string underneath and knot the new one onto the edge base string without putting the old string in between the two knots of the new string.
