color switch w/ reverse alpha— plz help!

hey so every time I do a color switch on a reverse alpha bracelet, it looks weird and wonky. I don’t know if im doing it wrong or what, but I thought I would turn to the forums for help.

when making upside down alphas, you can't use the flat alpha technique. what the flat alpha technique does is thread the previous leading string through the knot of the string you are switching to. but with upside down alphas, the knot is made on the back side of the bracelet, so you can't do it. if you are already doing normal color switches, I'm not sure what your problem is coming from. just practice, and they will improve over time. hope this helps
