A friend bought me a beaded distance bracelet. When the string broke, I bought some bracelet string but it's like rubber (jelly string? ) and impossible to keep a knot in it. I worked with it, using rubber cement and tape etc, but even that eventually came undone.

I'm not remotely knowledgeable or dexterous with bracelets.

There must be some good strong string that I could purchase that is EASY to tie knots in, in which the knots will stay knotted. Please tell me what to buy and where to buy it.

If there's even such a thing as a thin metal bracelet that you can put beads on and then lock the ends so that the beads stay on, I would consider using that. I just want something that is simple to set up and that will not fall apart soon.

Thank you!

I was just reading about something called "beading wire." Perhaps that is what I need? 🤔

I also took a look at some add-a--bead bracelets but they are reportedly of poor quality and I'm not sure if my beads would fit on one. But I will check out the DMC and Anchor thread. Thank you Hassey!
