So does anyone else have the problem where the knot is too far down on the string when you’re doing the letter color?? I can’t figure out how to fix it and I’m doing a commission so I need to fix this problem ASAP 🙁

If the knot isn't in the right place, perhaps you aren't pulling your strings tight enough? I find that tying the first half of the knot quite tightly then the second half of the knot slightly looser helps to get even, neat rows.Also, keeping the right amount of tension is essential for alpha bracelets to be even and neat. |

I use the method where you just tie an opposite knot with The base string so I’m thinking that maybe I should just use the alpha way instead

I have found it helpful to rotate your bracelet if possible. I use a clipboard, so it is easier for me. Also make sure you tie the first half of the knot tightly.I found this tutorial quite helpful when I made my first two tone alpha/ name bracelet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGdNoeyilaU |
