So when I make Alphas the backs always end up looking like a HOT mess, is there a way to make the back secure and be able to cut the excess string off as short as possible so it doesn’t look bad?I don’t know if that makes sense but assistance would be greatly appreciated! 😊 |

I usually tuck the cut stings into loops of other strings in the back, so that the strings don't stick out. I also glue down some if they aren't looking good. I don't think there is any other way to make the backs look neat I think its just gonna look weird. Ive seen people sew felt on the backs or make the alphas extra long so they fold over top of each other.

I’m making a bookmark and since the back will guaranteed be messy I plan on sewing felt onto the back.
