problems with teardrop loop

my teardrop loops have been turning out AWFUL lately, with two small bumps on the side instead of a usual triangle that is expected. any tips?

You might be pulling the connecting knot too tight when you connect both ends of the teardrop. Mine tend to get really lumpy if I pull too tight on the first half of the knot.

I’ve been having this issue too, where it comes out way tighter after about 2 rows or knots and looks wonky!
