Permission to make tutorials

Hi! I personally don’t have a YouTube but I was thinking it could be a good idea to add the option to check a box that says “I give my permission to have tutorials created for this pattern” when someone’s makes a pattern. It would be optional to check this box but if it is checked then youtubers or other people who want to make tutorials can easily see which patterns they do and and don’t have permission to use! Let me know if anyone else thinks this could be a good idea!

I’m pretty sure you are allowed to create tutorials on any pattern on braceletbook though but I could be wrong I just have seen tutorials on different patterns before.

it’s just good general practice to include the pattern number and link it in the description of the video

Right that is a good idea. They should still put the pattern number in the description but it would save YouTubers a lot of time reaching out to pattern creators for permission
