on bracket book they tell you the dimensions of how long your bracelet stings should be. does that include the ties for the end or just the bracket itself and i have to add some more inches for the tying part of my bracelet?

The dimensions are not the actual length of the bracelet or how much string you need. Dimension refers to the amount of knots in a pattern.A normal pattern with 10 strings and 12 rows would have the dimension 5x12 because there are 12 rows and 5 knots in the rows with the most knots An alpha pattern with 10 base strings and 12 rows would have the dimension 10x12 because you have 10 knots in each row For normal patterns the recommended string length is usually a wingspan or something like that. For alphas it really depends on the amount of rows how long your basestrings need to be. You can calculate the length your basestrings need to be if you know how long a certain amount of rows is and then you add a bit extra for the ties. |
