are there any rules on patterns in your Create Patterns section or can you do anything if you just dont publish them? Also vaguely related question uh do they still take up space in the database, noticed they still have numbers so id feel kinda bad taking up space that could be used for published patterns people can actually use

or ok for the second question they have to be stored somewhere so thats kind of a silly thing to ask, but i guess more just is it an issue if you just keep a pattern private forever and never publish it for others to use

- You can have anything you want in your "create patterns" section as long as you don't publish it. Nobody but you can see your "create patterns" section.

- Patterns in your "create patterns" section do take up storage, but you do not need to worry about taking storage that could be otherwise used for published patterns. There is enough storage for all patterns and if at some point there isn't enough storage, more storage will be added.

- It's not an issue at all to keep a pattern in your "create patterns" section and never publish it at all. Not all patterns are allowed to be published or users just don't want to publish them and that's completely alright. We even encourage users to keep patterns that can't be published such as simple word patterns in their "create patterns" section for personal use.
