What does rating a pattern mean?

Sorry if this is an obvious question haha. When rating a pattern what factors is it based on? Just how much you like the design or how it was to make or just overall vibes?

My recommendation: If you like a pattern, give it 5 stars. If you don't like a pattern, don't bother with it. Many people will be upset if they receive anything but 5 star ratings because it brings the percentage rating down from 100% and is irreversible. There's not a culture on braceletbook to rate pattern quality based on certain criterias. Most people will just give 5 stars to the pattens they like. Some people will give 1 star ratings to patterns they disagree with, for example pride patterns. Ratings patterns low just because you don't agree with them isn't acceptable on braceletbook. To prevent people from spamming low ratings, only the highest rank can give 1 star ratings. |
