hi, I wonder how the algorithm knows when to increase a user's rank. is there a system with points to earn or idk ?

Yes, that basically it. Each action you take gives you a certain amount of "points". Different actions give different amounts of "points". More valuable actions give more "points". Once you reached a certain amount of "points", you'll rank up. The higher the rank, the more "points" you need to rank up again. It's all an automated process.

@halokiwi is there a delay between when you reach the amount of “points” for a rank and actually ranking up and getting the title of the next rank?
