I had a small suggestion that might help with alpha patterns. Alpha patterns are always displayed so that the shortest side becomes the width, which sometimes causes patterns to appear sideways if the design is wider than it is tall. Which, can be a little frustrating, especially when you're trying to make something that hangs vertically (like off a dowel/wall hanging), but the pattern is rotated 90 degrees from what you need.It would be really cool if there was a feature that let you kinda change the layout of the pattern so you could view and knot it either vertically or horizontally, depending on what works best for your project. Kind of like a "rotate pattern view" option! (I hope I explained it as well as it looks in my head lol) |

I actually had the same issue and worked with my parents to create a pattern rotator in Python (coding), all you need to do is copy and paste the code into a Python runner. Would it perhaps be helpful to put this in here?
