Hi I was wondering how you add more colors when you create an alpha design? Also how you create normal patterns? Thank you!

To add more colours to an alpha pattern, go to 'draw alpha'.
Click on the box that says 'using color' and select a colour, that hasn't already been used.
Click on a knot you want to change to that colour.

Normal patterns are a little more difficult to design than normal patterns. I recommend playing around with the interactive normal generator, to get a feeling for it.
You can click + and - to add and remove strings and rows.
You can click on the individual knots to change the knot type.
You can click on the beginning or end of strings to change their colour. Before you do that, you have to select a colour you want to use.
