I don't know if this has been asked before but I can't find it if it has.I am absolutely terrible at the straight edge technique on normal patterns, so when i find a straight edge bracelet I just make it but without the straight edges. I was wondering is it still okay to post photos of the bracelet under that pattern if I remove the straight edge strings? and also, there are some patterns that have coloured borders that are like part of the pattern and I've just made the bracelet without them, can I post those photos? sorry if this is an obvious question, I just wasn't sure if it would be considered like the same as a variation, or if I've actually changed the bracelet too much to post, especially with bordered bracelets ๐ |

You can make small changes to patterns like adding or removing straight edges, adding or removing borders, doubling the pattern, changing a few knots or combining two patterns. The photo will still be accepted as long as the pattern is still recognisable and not completely different.
