Instead of making a new account can you change your email to the account that you already have and saving the patterns that you published to the site, the rank etc.

Do you mean will it get rid of patterns, photos ect, no I don't think so. I changed my email just to check how it worked and everything stayed.

hi!! changing the email that is attached to your account will not affect the content associated with it. everything will stay! i’ve done it before, you’ll be fine

hi! yes you can have a second account with a second email. we no longer ban second accounts. your information and patterns and stuff should stay the same on your original account, if that answers your second question. 🙂
