hi! im starting pattern #30712 and am planning on doing traingle endssince i also want to do the straight edges technique i have to add an extra string how would i do traingle ends with an extra string (start of bracelet) |

you can pick what side you want the extra string one side will just be a little bit longer!

im guessing just add it in there and make your triangle uneven like you would with a normal pattern that has uneven strings. i'm not rly sure though since i havent used the straight edges technique with normal patterns and idk how to do it 😂 sry if this is unhelpful

Just the two strings in the same way you add in the rest of the strings

Looking at the pattern, I don't think the straight edges technique would even be necessary here. All of the edge knots are going in the same direction so it should stay straight on it's own. You can still do it though if you really want to.

You would triangle ends like normal but cut two extra strings for the straight edge. Then, make the triangle ends for your pattern but make sure the last string for the straight edge is a the end of the triangle ends. Hope this helps😀
