After you do the braided stitch like already suggested you could try the leaf braided stitch it looks super cool too. There are tutorials on YouTube the are really great. I recommend channels like Alex’s innovations, masha knots, and Kinsey B. They are all super good youtubers and I think they could really help.🙂😁 good luck

A half and half chevron is pretty easy and totally beginner friendly! If you are looking for something a little more difficult to test your skills I would suggest doing something with bf or fb knots in it to help you to understand all four knots, which will be helpful when making bigger and harder patterns. I hoped this helped! 👍
