How long should I cut the base string of an Alpha bracelet ? 🙂

The basestrings need to be the length of the bracelet plus some extra for the ties.

i make mine abt a foot and half so then i can have something to work with and the ties come out at a perfect length at the end

Sorry, I hit send by mistake 😂 I usually cut mines at around 2 feet, and leave 25cm for the ties

The base strings should be the length that you want the bracelet itself to be, plus around 20-30cm for ties. You don’t need to make them very long, because base strings don’t shorten as you make the bracelet

Usually, I make each base string about 40 cm long. 🙂
