I want to make my own normal patterns, but don't know how to type them out.

To type it out, you type f for forward knot, b for backward knot, fb for forward backward knot, bf for backward forward knot, and 0 if you want a space.

if you make the pattern on a computer, you can also see the arrow shapes on the right sight that will type the letters for you!

I suggest figuring out how to code a chevron or a candy stripe first and then you can make more complicated stuff. Remember the first row will have all the string in use and the second will be all but 2, so 1 less knot.
